The Brand New Linn Lingo 4 Power Supply and Motor!

Brand new for 2018, Linn have just launched their Lingo 4 power supply upgrade for the LP12.

This one borrows the technology from the Radikal power supply and includes a new 12v AC motor in the package!

The new Lingo 4 incorporates a motor speed management system and uses digital processing technology to make the platter spin more accurately and more consistently. It auto-calibrates the motor when the LP12 is powered on to ensure this accuracy and consistency every time. Crucial for music, of course as even the slightest speed variation affects the pitch making the turntable sound like a musical instrument that hasn’t been tuned properly.

The on-board circuitry fits inside the LP12 and the power supply itself uses a new slimmer case which can be easily conciled and does not require the use of an additional full shelf space like the previous Lingo 3.

Only a small increase in price over the old Lingo 3 and remember, this kit includes an all new motor. Ideal for replacing and upgrading all those tired 80’s Valhalla boards and original motors.
