Unlike may cable manufacturers, Analysis Plus has huge experience in digital signals, working with customers including Airbus, Boeing and NASA. Digital cables have their own, unique requirements, vastly different to the needs of analogue cables. That means that, when it comes to HDMI cables, Analysis Plus are uniquely placed to apply their engineering and scientific experience to deliver the very best performance.
This new HDMI cable from Analysis Plus applies their digital signal knowledge to deliver a class-leading High Speed with Ethernet cable. Instead of the 0.05mm² or finer cables used by most competitors, this use 0.2mm² design, while still optimising digital signal performance to ensure transmission capability well in excess of the requirement which is the highest current certification for HDMI cables.
This has been fully certified by Panasonic ATC under HDMI CTS 1.4 Cat.2 and, as such, is compatible with all HDMI 1.4 systems and fully supports all HDMI 2.0 requirements.
Please note that there is currently no HDMI 2.0 certification for cables, as HDMI 2.0 is a hardware change not a cable change. Directly from the HDMI standards organisation: “Version 2.0 of the HDMI Specification does not define new cables or new connectors. Current High Speed cables (category 2 cables) are capable of carrying the increased bandwidth.”
